Our Big Friend & Me Music Class / Playgroup for toddlers, 18 months through 3 years old, is generating applause from parents and children alike! During this popular weekly program, toddlers and their parents or caretakers enjoy music, sensory play, snack time, crafts, and parenting discussions in a peaceful mixed age class.
Your toddler will work at their own pace and make their own choices while exploring a carefully prepared environment containing hands-on, age appropriate materials. Also, this class provides your toddler and their accompanying adult the opportunity to build wonderful social relationships.
Colleen Law, a longtime music teacher and current Bala House parent, leads this program in the extended care classroom of the Edith C. Aherne wing. Classes take place on Monday and Thursday mornings from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Two sessions run from October through April. All holidays and vacations coincide with the school calendar.
