Tuition alone does not cover all our school’s financial needs. Annual giving supports programs vital to our mission such as:
Tuition Assistance Fund - Diversity – both cultural and socioeconomic – has been and remains vital to our mission. To that end, funding our Tuition Assistance Fund has been an annual priority since Bala House’s 21st birthday. This fund allows Bala House to offer $25,000 in scholarships every year to approximately nine families who cannot otherwise afford a private preschool and kindergarten Montessori education for their children.
Teacher Enrichment Fund - The Teacher Enrichment Fund was established in 2009 to support Bala House’s most valuable resources: its teachers. This fund is restricted solely for staff compensation and professional development. Bala House is committed to teacher enrichment and the core value that great teachers make great schools, which directly benefit the students. Honor Bala House’s outstanding staff with a gift to the Teacher Enrichment Fund!
Facility Improvements - Facility enhancements are necessary to provide a physical environment equivalent to the first-rate Montessori education we offer and are absolutely vital to the future of Bala House.
