the Bala House
Bala House provides an exceptional Montessori program for children between the ages of three and six years old in which their independence, self confidence, and social skills are fostered. We have five mixed age early childhood classes and one kindergarten class. Outdoor activity and specials, in art, music, and movement, strengthen the overall school experience.
In addition, we offer quality early morning and afternoon extended care that combines many of the practical life experiences found in the morning Montessori classrooms, with outdoor play, theme-based learning projects, and opportunities for creative and imaginary play.
During the summer, our Montessori camp offers preschool children a safe, nurturing, and gently stimulating summer experience.
The Bala House also hosts a variety of special events throughout the year for both children and their families.
Our popular Big Friend and Me Music Class / Playgroup provides toddlers and a special adult the chance to build social relationships and explore a carefully prepared environment containing hands-on Montessori materials.
