Montessori Enrichment Afternoon

Bala House’s Montessori Enrichment Afternoon (for children ages 3-5) combines many of the same Montessori works, lessons and experiences found in our morning Montessori classrooms including circle time, story time, and independent work time. Montessori Enrichment also includes weekly science experiments, cooking projects and arts and crafts lessons, as well as opportunities for dramatic play.

While not all the enrichment materials are typical of a Montessori classroom, the program is consistent with Montessori principles. Freedom of choice in activities is bounded by the responsibility to make positive, healthy, and safe choices individually and as a group.
